Summer heat

OK, out here in the valley, it's been hot as a motherfucker. So yesterday when Murrieta celebrated its birthday, we went. They had a couple of rides, some jumpers, and 3 water jumper-type thingies. Also they had free stuff galore, food, and firemen using the crane on thier truck to shower everyone in water. We went swimming on Friday, to the carnival Saturday, and we're going swimming again today. Currently, it does get dark until about eight thirty-nineish and it doesn't get cool until about ten. Right now, it's 101 degrees outside. That may sound "just a little hot", but let me tell you, when you open the door, you can feel the heat wave hit you. It definitely ain't "just a little hot"-it's a lot hot. I also got a new Yahoo. I have to get the computer cleaned as it's been acting up. The carnival was $5 for unlimited rides the whole day so me and my sibs cleaned the house to earn it. Well got to go-the pool calls! lol

Life at school

I go to Temescal Canyon High School. I am in the county class and have 5 people that I see regularly. They are: Dr. Goeman, the school psycologist, Chad Petties, the assistant coordinator, or 'vice-principal', Timothy Worthington II, the coordinator, or 'principal', Paul Eggbert, the teacher's aide and all-around cool guy, and Faysal Hill, my teacher. I will use the color each person's name is in when talking about them. Mr. Hill is a really cool teacher. He's from Michigan (Benton Harbor) and has a nice accent. He's a good athlete, caring & understanding, always willing to give you advice or help solve a problem, generous and from what I've heard, a good father. He likes to say 'jelly', meaning 'jealous' and 'thirsty', meaning you really want something. His favorite sports are basketball and football, although he plays a mean game of Phase 10 as well. He has a nice smile and a great sense of humor...although I guess you'd have to to work with us lol. Mr. Hill has been my teacher since 2005 and I really enjoy his class even though I can act like an asshole towards him sometimes. I look forward to seeing him in summer school and hope he is my teacher for that as well. Anything he asks of me, I'm honest in...there are no secrets between teacher and student. I feel like I can tell him anything and he'll listen-and really, I can...all's I hope is that he doesn't bring back The Wall...that's the worst punishment EVER! Mr. Paul squeaking the chair back and forth while Mr. Hill plays 'Section Number 9' on his phone and teases you trying to get you to move-but if you do it's 5,000 words fuck that! I hope he never sees this blog but he might... Mr. Paul is really smart and wonderful at math. He's really helped me understand a lot, and I hope he comes to summer school too. Mr. Paul is 23. He has a nice smile and a good sense of humor. I accidently broke his cube toy, so I have to replace it for $8.Though I've only known him this year, I hope he teaches next year too as I think I've developed a good student-teacher realationship from him. He's another one I don't keep secrets from. I hope to increase this bond between me and him-as teacher and student. Mr. Worthington....what can I say about him? Not much, because I don't know much. I did learn recently, however, that he used to work in Hollywood for a year before being offered a job as a principal. He looks like he's from The Matrix because he always wears dark shades even indoors. He has a nice smile and a good sense of humor. He's always wearing a suit and tie...guess you gotta look professional. He has dark black hair that's curly, but he tries to slick it down with lots of gel. He's another one I hope to see in summer school. Mr. Petties...hmm I really don't know that much. We've had a couple of good conversations while I was in the Planning Room...not exactly a good place to be. He's really serious and concerned about the students and he calls himself 'The Godfather' because he's been here longer than anyone. Personally I think he's watched a few too many movies. All I know about Dr. Goeman is he comes to my IEP's and offers his opinon on my mental health...more to come if I learn anything. He is 70.

Jokes

A man (let's call him Paul) walks up to a nuthouse. There is a wooden fence with a small hole just big enough to look through. Right over the fence is a sign saying 'Whatever you do, DO NOT look through the hole'. Inside Paul hears another man (let's call him Bryan) saying "13, 13, 13" over and over again. Paul tries to talk to Bryan but Bryan just keeps saying "13, 13, 13". Well finally Paul gets fed up and looks through the hole. Bryan pokes him in the eye. As Paul is walking away holding his eye, he hears Bryan saying "14, 14, 14." ________________________________________ A little girl wants to talk about Easter and how Jesus rose from the grave. Her teacher informs her that he didn't rise, the Roman soldiers stole his body. The little girl denies this and her and the teacher get into it. The teacher says "Well, how do you know he rose from the grave?" The girl says "I don't." She asks the teacher "How do you know the Roman soldiers stole his body?" The teacher says "I don't." The little girl says "OK, I'll make you a deal. When I die and go to Heaven, I'll ask the Roman soldiers if they stole his body." The teacher says "What if the Roman soldiers aren't in Heaven?" The little girl replies "Then when you die, you ask them." ____________________________________________ A Morman man, a Christian man, and a Jewish man are arguing about how much money should be given to God. The Jewish man says, "Let's draw a circle on the ground and throw money in the air. Whatever lands inside the circle we'll give to God." The Morman man says, "Let's throw our money in the air and whatever lands outside the circle we'll give to God." Finally the Christain man says, "Look-let's just throw all our money really high in the air, and whatever God wants, He'll grab."
